When you begin shopping for consumer goods and products, what are some of the concepts that you look for? Many shoppers are increasingly paying attention to performance, sustainability, and aesthetics as they use the internet to connect with products from all over the world. Thanks to the interconnected nature of the internet, businesses have to be better than ever to stand out in the crowd.

Keter Group is a supplier of sustainable resin-based materials founded in Israel back in 1948. Over 75 years later, Keter continues to ply its trade by offering consumers access to winning products that look as good as they are beneficial to the environment.

Led by the work of CEO Alejandro Pena, Keter Group has enjoyed prosperous leaps and bounds in recent years. Recently, the company launched its Lakeside Collection which showcases just how its pillars of sustainability and aesthetics can lead to a winning product launch.

Understanding the Keter Difference

Some people get into manufacturing so that they can make a buck while others do it so that they can change the world at the same time. Keter’s team of developers has long been focused on operating as stewards of the environment, just as much as they’ve been focused on earning money in the marketplace.

Keter earned its reputation thanks to more than 75 years of efforts in the sustainability sector. The resin used by Keter is recycled which means that it consumes up to 88% less energy than virgin resin utilized by its competitors. Additionally, Keter’s products are built to last a lifetime which means that they should not end up in any landfill.

The longevity and success of Keter have been backed by its continued focus on improving in areas where it can help the environment and the community. Recently, Keter eliminated the use of any single-use plastic consumer items. At the same time, Keter also committed itself to raising the use of recycled content in its products up to 55% from the 41% that it currently resides. These efforts have made Keter a winner in various environmental efforts.

The Lakeside Collection

Keter’s Lakeside Collection is fresh and on the market for consumers looking to add a touch of comfort and a splash of sustainability to their homes. The Lakeside Collection was developed by Keter around its favored Adirondack Chairs. Built from LumberTech material, Keter’s chairs are free from splinters and capable of enduring up to 400 lbs of weight. LumberTech material is sourced from recycled milk cartons produced in the United States.

While the Adirondack Chairs may look great at a glance, they stand up to the test of time thanks to treatment from SunGuard technology. Keter’s use of SunGuard technology adds a layer of UV protection to its products, eliminating potential wear and tear while offsetting any fading at the same time. These finishes can also be found on other outdoor Keter products such as the Rockford Trash Can or the Keter Outdoor Kitchen Cart.

Alejandro Pena says of his team’s focus, “They believe the future is bright and that together we can build a better company and, most importantly, a better world for future generations.”
