TOKYO A power supply problem forced the suspension of rail service in the peak hours in the Japanese capital.

According to the operator Tokyo Corporation, the accident occurred in the early Wednesday and affected traffic between stations and Futako Shibuya-tamagawa of Den-en-toshi line.

The service was restarted after 10 am, four hours and a half since the problem occurred.


About 120 thousand users were affected by the suspension of rail service.
