TOKYO Japan Airlines and Wi2, KDDI Group company Wire and Wireless, announced the signing of an alliance to offer free and unlimited access to all foreign tourists visiting the Japanese archipelago.
Through a joint statement specify that the connection will be made through "Explore Japan JAL WiFi 'application, which is now available for Android devices (version 4.1 and later) and IOs (8.0 and later).
Also report that the application is downloaded only outside of Japanese territory, because it aims to provide information to foreign visitors.
JAL flies direct to Tokyo from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid and Helsinki and offers to connect to over 35 destinations in the Japanese archipelago.
JAL Japan Explore WiFi will connect automatically via some 200,000 WiFi hotspots operated by Wi2.
